HODGSON CHAPEL
Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. I worked in the finance office of the Savannah District of the Corps of Engineers under Jimmy (as we co-workers called him then) in the early 1970's. It was my first "real" job. I remember him as being friendly, fair, encouraging and an all around decent man. May his memory be a blessing to his family.

I would like to express my deepest condolences for your loss, it's never easy going through the passing of a loved one. You might take comfort in God's promise found at Revelation 21:4 which says God "will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” This scripture gave me hope when I experienced loss, I hope it can do the same for your family. May the memories you have help you endure this difficult time.

Uncle Kenneth, we are glad that you were a part of our family. And we pray that Aunt Mary and Cousin Mark will have peace through this time of grieving. I remember swinging on the porch swing on hot summer days with you at Grandma Lynn's green apartment during the 70's and 80's. It was always peaceful to me there.

I am so sorry about the loss of your dear love James. We all know that the sting of death is very painful, however, God promise that soon death will be swallowed up forever along with the pain and sorrow it brings. ( Isaiah 25:8) As for the many that have fallen asleep in death, he promise that they will be ressurrected to life, here on earth. ( John 5:28,29; Psalms 37:29) May this hope along with the wonderful memories you have of James helps you to cope.
